I consider a flower a work of art and as such the pieces I make with them. This being said I work as thoughtfully as possible in order to minimize waste as well as find the best tools for each piece or project. My designs are hand-crafted using the blooms I grow here in my own gardens, as well as foraged finds from throughout the area and my own backyard. The remaining design materials and mechanics are always hand-made, locally or ethically sourced, second-hand, able to be recycled, up-cycled, composted or responsibly disposed of. Seasonal flowers are the focus of the designs, and this is intentional so as to keep my footprint small and the focus on the abundance that is available right here during the growing season in Maine.
